source site For many children, living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis can make them feel isolated and alone. Camp Got2Go provides an opportunity where campers can interact with other kids facing similar challenges and are not made to feel different because of their disease. Having the chance to participate in activities and meet new friends helps build self-esteem, independence and opportunities for self-discovery.

I believe Camp Got2Go will impart confidence, help build a strong self-image and allow [our son] to form relationships with others who appreciate what this camp experience truly provides. It is an exceptional opportunity not only for [him], but for the entire family.” – 2014 Camp Got2Go parent
Camp Got2Go – a one-week, overnight, summer camp for children and teens living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis – provides campers a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend overnight camp, where they can interact and connect with other kids facing similar challenges.
Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, with support from Janssen Inc., will send 35 youth (ages 9-17) from across Canada to Camp Got2Go this upcoming summer. We are excited to announce that campers will have the opportunity to attend camp at one of two camp site locations, depending on where they live.
